Tooth decay and gum disease in pets

What do gingivitis and tooth decay look like?

This sad cat would have a tough time eating, chewing, grooming and drinking. Their overall health would suffer as a result of reduced nutrition. As well, it is likely that this cat experiences pain on a daily or continuous basis in their mouth. What is truly tragic is that all this could be prevented with regular tooth brushing and regular visits with the veterinary dentist.
