Dr Gilbert has always loved critters and
knew that he wanted to work with them in his life. He studied veterinary
medicine in cold Saskatoon and graduated with honours in 1984. After practicing a few years in his home town
of Coquitlam and then later in Surrey, he
purchased Highlands
Animal Hospital
in 1988.
Over the years he has expanded his practice
to include Seymour Animal Clinic and more recently, Marine Drive Veterinary
Hospital, West End Veterinary Clinic and Burnaby New Westminster Central Animal
Hospital. These hospitals now work cooperatively under the umbrella of CARE Pet
Wellness Group, delivering the same high level of care and commitment to pet
health care.
Dr Gilbert’s passion is animal dentistry
and surgery, although all medicine continues to intrigue him and has an enduring
commitment to educating people on how best to help their pets lead happy and long,
healthy lives.
Brad’s other passions are his family,
skiing, biking, working out, and spending time with his yellow lab “Chilli.”
